There's just something about varnished mahogany


Some time ago I found this 1959 Chris-Craft Continental in the California and shipped it to Sydney. It was one step away from firewood but it was once owned by Howard Hughes and so deserved to be saved. I did a detailed restoration and she ended up looking like a piece of furniture - 12 coats of varnish and a lot of rechroming.







Runs a '59 Corvette 283 V8 mounted backwards - great exhaust note



of course everyone ultimately wants a Riva and the Aquarama is the ultimate. This one is in Monaco.


for me the Riviera Americas Cup Diavolo 44 is a design classic. Built in the early 90's they haven't dated a bit and still look awesome on the harbour.
